The “Institut des Métiers du Froid”
The “Institut des Métiers du Froid” is the training center of the STEF group for all professions linked to the temperature-controlled supply chain.
This Institute was created to guarantee the development of our employees’ skills through vocational training programs.
The Institute designs and organizes training modules on the various trades of the temperature-controlled supply chain.
The Institute offers hallmarked training programs designed and monitored by experts, in the following fields:
- The operation of refrigerated facilities,
- Cold generation
- The temperature-controlled supply-chain,
- Hygiene and food safety
- Working in a refrigerated warehouse

These training programs are tailored for a wide range of employees: field managers, technical managers, ground workers, operational officers
The Institute offers short-term traineeship programs for all our employees in the field of transport, logistics, safety and training programs in management, communication and human resources.
Many STEF employees who have the necessary talent and expertise teach in these programs. Their know-how contributes extensively to the definition of the programs.
