Multi-year plan of STEF from 2025 to 2027
STEF is implementing an active strategy to improve the digital accessibility of its website. This approach meets current regulatory obligations, in particular the criteria defined by the Référentiel Général d'Amélioration de l'Accessibilité (RGAA). STEF's objective is to comply with these standards in order to ensure fair and inclusive use of its services. This policy, centred on accessibility and diversity, aims to make its digital platforms usable by all, regardless of users' disabilities or constraints. Through this investment, STEF is affirming its dedication to providing an optimal user experience and fostering a culture of digital inclusion.
Actions for 2025
Compliance of the stef.com website
Accessibility audit
A firm specialising in digital accessibility carefully assessed the various functionalities of the website. The aim of this analysis was to identify any non-compliance with the RGAA criteria and to draw up an action plan to remedy the situation. The audit explored various aspects, such as navigation, forms, multimedia content and interactions with users. The conclusions of the audit were used to draw up a detailed assessment and prioritise the measures to be implemented.
Publication of results
Following the audit, STEF published an accessibility declaration, an accessibility score and an action plan over several years. This transparent initiative allows users to follow the measures taken to improve accessibility and to see the progress made. It also reflects STEF's commitment to digital inclusion and increases public awareness of the importance of this cause.
Recruitment
From 2025, STEF will integrate the notion of accessibility into job descriptions essential for the implementation of RGAA criteria. This initiative will mainly target the roles of UI designer and front-end developer. The aim is to make new team members aware of accessibility issues as soon as they are recruited, while ensuring that the team has the necessary knowledge to continue improving the application's accessibility. Job descriptions will include specific requirements relating to digital accessibility, including mastery of W3C standards and a good understanding of RGAA criteria.
Management of user requests
STEF has established a specific method for managing user requests concerning accessibility. A contact form, included in the accessibility declaration, enables users to report any problems encountered. In addition, a dedicated email address, STEF_COMMUNICATION_ACCESSIBILITE@stef.com, is available to centralise and process accessibility-related requests. This procedure gives users the opportunity to report any problems they may encounter and to receive rapid, appropriate responses. Requests are assessed and prioritised according to their impact on the user experience, and corrective action is taken accordingly.
Corrective action
On the basis of the non-compliance points identified, STEF has drawn up a plan to correct the functionalities, divided into 3 batches.
In 2025, STEF will focus on the non-compliant elements requiring a low investment in development and causing a high impact on the accessibility score.
Monitoring and reporting
In order to guarantee transparency and monitoring of the initiatives implemented, STEF will set up an internal reporting process dedicated to the actions carried out in terms of accessibility. Each year, these actions will be recorded and made public, providing a clear view of the progress made and the areas for improvement that remain. This process will also enable the multi-year plan to be revised and updated in line with the measures undertaken.
Actions for 2026
Corrective measures
Batch 2
In 2026, STEF will carry out the corrective measures in Batch 2, i.e. those requiring a low or moderate effort with a low or moderate impact.
Awareness
STEF will set up an awareness programme for internal teams in the technical and digital departments (UI designer, UX designer, developer) and marketing.
Actions for 2027
Corrective measures
Batch 3
STEF will focus in 2027 on batch 3 concerning corrective measures with a high development effort.
Accessibility improvement follow-up and audit
In 2027, STEF will conduct a new audit to update the accessibility score and identify any adjustments still needed. This assessment will measure progress made since 2025, check whether new functionalities meet compliance criteria, and identify areas for further improvement. The results of this audit will be made public, ensuring transparent communication and informing users of the actions taken. Priority adjustments will be defined according to their impact on the user experience and the complexity of the changes to be made.
