Our brand purpose

Since the creation of STEF in 1920, we have been driven by a singular purpose: to ensure that people have the food they need. This purpose gives us an essential role, which we express through our brand purpose:

It reflects who we are, what makes us different and what drives us. It expresses the vision and ambition of our Group. It affirms the economic and social role embraced by our company. It is the common denominator that underlies the aspirations of all employees, from managers to rank-and-file workers.

Our manifesto

For over 100 years, we have accomplished the vital task of ensuring that millions of Europeans have the food they need, when they need it. We are at the heart of the food chain. We store, package and transport the products on people’s plates every day.

We work hand in hand with producers, distributors and restaurants. We provide millions of consumers with food products tailored to their palate and principles.

We rely on our enthusiasm, respect, rigour and performance to serve our customers. We are proud to be able to support their growth and help them expand into new markets. Together we are inventing the supply chain of the future, one that is ever more reliable, connected and respectful of the environment.

And to ensure that future generations continue to be able to choose what they eat, we strive daily in our business and sector to forge a more responsible, greener path forward.
